Description: Founded on Feb. 4, 1869, Grant County, Arkansas, celebrates its 150th anniversary this year. Heritage Day: Celebrating 150 years of Grant County will be a festival hosted by the Grant County Museum with the help of many sponsors to honor and celebrate our county's history over the past 150 years and continued success over the next 150 years. This will be a one day festival held on the courthouse square in Sheridan, Arkansas, on May 4 beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 7 p.m. There will be a variety of events, games, vendors from arts and crafts to food trucks, an antique car show, an antique tractor show, a parade, a 5K run, music and entertainment on stage, and living history presentations of things like blacksmithing, quilting, butter churning, basket weaving, etc. It is a family friendly event.
