We were established in 1984 with the stated purpose of Promoting the art and history of quilting, enhancing each member's own quilting skills and knowledge, and to make the public aware of the artistry of quilt making.

To specifically promote quilting as an art form, the HSAQG holds a biannual show, Quiltfest, in July of odd numbered years. Quiltfest is a mecca for quilters of all skill levelsbeginners through advanced. In addition to the quilt exhibits, we have 20 plus vendors offering a wide variety of quilting and sewing merchandise. We also have a Boutique of handmade items to tempt visitorsjust in case they need a special gift for someone at home, or an idea for a new project for themselves! Our Show is a NACQJ judged Show. Over 200 quilts will be on display for your enjoyment.
