| Description: | From 21st Annual Arkansas Hot Air Balloon State Championship Website: The Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce will host the 21st Annual Arkansas Hot Air Balloon State Championship on September 9th, 10th and 11th, 2016 in the magnificent Ozark Mountains.
This unique outdoor event that began in 1995 is held in beautiful downtown Harrison, Arkansas. The Festival will kick off on Friday evening with The Hare and the Hound Balloon Race. The event will continue on Saturday morning with more Balloon Race Competitions. The evening events will continue with balloons tethered to the ground for the exciting balloon glow. Tethered rides will be offered to the public for $5.00. In conjunction with the tethered rides, there will be a CASA Kids Fest, with inflatables, pony rides, music, face painting, food and fun for the family. The event will continue through Sunday with several Balloon Race Competitions for all to enjoy. Come experience the "Hot Air Balloon Adventure" with us!
