Description:

From Bella Vista Arts and Crafts Festival Website:

For this world-renowned arts and crafts weekend in October, Northwest Arkansas is awash with some 200,000 visitors from across the country. Bella Vista Arts & Crafts Festival, in our 48th year, is now the PREMIER festival in the NW Arkansas area. Visitors can count on the highest quality art and craft work - always hand-made - never buy-sell! Since 1969 the Bella Vista Arts and Crafts festival has been steadily growing in size and reputation. Continued comments come from exhibitors, "This is the friendliest arts & crafts event I attend!" Sales are excellent as visitors come expecting to buy high quality and unique work - and they come back year after year! The Festival is sponsored by the 501(C)(3) non-profit, Village Art Club of Bella Vista - profits support art scholarships, the local arts club, art education, summer art camp and grade school art programs. The festival offers: 300 juried exhibitor booths featuring hand-made original arts and crafts; six circus-size tents plus hundreds of individual tents on our beautiful, spacious grounds; free admission; tram service from adjacent parking area; an all-volunteer director and board and hundreds of volunteers who work diligently to make the show a success; "ambassadors" assigned to assist artisans; a wide variety of great foods; package holding and pickup: setup assistance on Wednesday; night security; an aggressive print, TV and internet advertising program; strong buying attendance. All fine art and fine craft media will be represented including pottery, photography, fine art, blown and stained glass, woven goods, baskets, metalwork, sculpture, jewelry, children’s toys, yard & garden and marquetry.
