The inaugural Peacemaker Music and Arts Festival will take place at Harry E. Kelley Park along the banks of the Arkansas River in Downtown Fort Smith, July 31st through August 2nd, 2015. This three-day festival will include a diverse music lineup featuring acclaimed local, regional and national artists.

The idea for this festival began with a simple post on Facebook by area business owner Jeff Gosey. He asked if anyone was interested in helping start a new music festival in downtown Fort Smith. A few weeks later, Jeff, along with a few enthusiastic friends formed a board and got to work. "This has been an amazing ride so far", says Gosey. "I'm blown away by the dedication and hard work of this organization and we're excited to announce a killer line up for this inaugural event."

The event is expected to draw thousands of music and art lovers from all over the region. Organizers say their goal is to educate the public and expand people's cultural knowledge by offering a wide variety of music genres, which will include gospel, blues, rock, country, bluegrass and jam. Art exhibitions will also be set up around the festival grounds to visually enrich and educate the public.
