During the Handcrafted Evening, Ozark Folk Center State Park resident crafts people will share a side of their working studios that you don't see during the regular day. In addition to demonstrating how they create their crafts, they will talk about how they connected with their craft, and the details of crafting in the modern world.

The Ozark folk are known for their strong tradition of fine craftsmanship. The crafts people at the Ozark Folk Center State Park continue this tradition by creating fine functional and decorative handmade items in their workshops in the park. On Friday, July 10, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the Ozark Folk Center State Park crafts people would like to invite you to a Handcrafted Evening in the Park.

The Craft Village is especially beautiful in the evening. Many of the workshops will be open for this unique chance to have a quiet visit with a working craftsman. You can start your visit in the Homespun Gift Shop where a variety of contemporary Arkansas crafts people have consigned their works for sale.The Gift Shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the Handcrafted Evening on July 10.
