| Description | Location: Mountain Harbor Resort, We are located 12 miles East of Mount Ida and 21 miles West of Hot Springs Lake Ouachita is fortunate enough to be one of the nesting grounds for our national bird, the majestic American Bald Eagle. In early spring they nest around the resort. With the help of Rangers and some other special guests, Mountain Harbor Resort is able to offer a unique experience with these noble birds, as well as some of their feathered friends. Join us weekends in February as we go on scenic viewing tours via party barges, and try to catch a glimpse of these large carnivorous birds at play and at home in their treetop nests. We will also have 'Birds of Prey' presentations at our Marina.Accessible | ||
