Smoke on the Water Productions and the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce presents the second annual USA Barbecue Championship in North Little Rock, Arkansas March 19-20, 2010.

Considered the worldâs richest contest with a guaranteed purse of $100,000, the USA Barbecue Championship has raised the bar on competition grilling to new levels. âNorth Little Rock wanted to make a statement by offering the worldâs largest purse," said Terry Hartwick, president of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. "This event attracts all of the top ranked teams and our grand champion is considered the best griller in the United States. Weâre very proud to be affiliated with this premier event and the fact so many visitors will be able to see what our fine city has to offer.â

The USA Barbecue Championship is held at North Little Rockâs Downtown Riverside RV Park, which sits on the bank of the Arkansas River. Located across from the Clinton Presidential Center, the full service RV park has all the amenities of home and offers a spectacular view of Little Rockâs beautiful skyline.

âDowntown Riverside RV Park is the perfect place for a barbecue competition," said organizer Ron Cates. âThe infrastructure will really be appreciated by the teams. Unbelievable view, plenty of room, electricity, sewer, water, dump station and on site managers. The park is second to none."
